VARIOUS COMICS I'VE WRITTEN
(and nothing to do with audio engineering)

While my comics writing career is still budding, I have written a couple of stories for Ink & Drink Comics, a St. Louis-based comics anthology publisher.  In addition to those stories, I'm currently working on an adaptation of A Beginner's Guide to Interplanetary Destruction, a sci-fi comedy podcast I co-created.

HARBINGERS OF CALAMITY

An adaptation

Harbingers of Calamity is an adaptation of A Beginner's Guide to Interplanetary Destruction, an award nominated, serialized scripted sci-fi podcast I co-created.  It features a group of friends on an inter-dimensional quest to defeat the most ultimate evil in the entire multiverse.  As great as the show is, I've always felt like we missed out on a lot of potential scenarios and jokes due to the lack of visuals, so I'm hoping to rectify that with either a monthly comic or a series of graphic novels.

This project is currently in the drafting phase.  There are roughly 130 pages scripted so far.

Desperate criminals. Conflicted cops. Anti-heroes living outside the law. Hapless gumshoes chasing a lead. Heists plotted down to the letter. Murders committed in the heat of the moment. These elements are staples of the crime genre, and the thirteen tales in this anthology from Ink and Drink Comics finds the usual suspects delving deep into every dark corner of this domain. Some are based on true events, others are truly absurd, but all the stories in this volume are guaranteed to thrill.

Hair of the Dog

13--A number believed by many to be a harbinger of bad tidings and ill omens. It is no coincidence then that this 13th anthology from Ink and Drink Comics is a collection of tales featuring supernatural spectres and monstrous behemoths which will send chills down your spine and make you shriek in terror! So, eerie dearies, we invite you to again open our creaking cover and settle down to read these sixteen scintillating tales under the light of the full moon, for we know that a little Hair of the Dog will leave you howling with delight!

This was my first published work.  I wrote and lettered the story Not Again!  Pencils and inks by Darren Tracy.  Colors by Brandon Daniels.

Werewolves of London

On the House - Round 6

Werewolves of London is the 6th edition of Ink & Drink's annual Free Comic Book Day offering On the House.

The Change was my first attempt at sequential art!  It came out okay.  The concept was something my daughter and I thought up, so of course she gets a co-creator credit!  It's a silent story about a wolf, who deals with a strange transformation once a month.
