PODCASTING

In the summer of 2013, along with a group of friends, I began creating what would be A Beginner's Guide to Interplanetary Destruction, a long-form, large cast sci-fi adventure podcast.  We ran for three years, doing two full seasons and one mini-season, and were even nominated for a few Audioverse Awards.

In addition to writing or co-writing most of the episodes, I engineered all of the recording sessions; edited and produced the episodes; wrote/co-wrote a large portion of the music; and voiced a number of major and minor characters.  (I'm a very skilled podcaster, is what I'm saying).

Now under the CalamityCast Network name, we've created a number of scripted audio dramas and chat shows, including my brainchild – Spacemerica!

ABGTID Crest

A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO INTERPLANETARY DESTRUCTION

A group of friends, brought together through D&D and the death of one of their own, are the unwitting participants in an intergalactic chess game that’s being played out by two warring multidimensional empires. Joined with their newly resurrected friend, Eugene, the group soon discovers that there is no way back to their old lives. Faced with an odyssey that none of them wanted, they resolve to move forward, shifting from one dimension to the next in an effort to combat the dark forces that permeate existence, and to find those responsible for their predicament.

SPACEMERICA!

A motley group of future-humans from space search for treasure, and a sense of purpose, across the ruins of the once great nation of the United States of America.  Along with the assistance of Ignatius Babcock, traveling salesmen and new Erf friend, the heroes make their way across the country to meet with a man that claims to know the location of THE CAPTAIN'S LOG, the ancient Erf treasure they seek most.
